To finish off Hunter Valley (and there really isn't much more to update about), let's talk about the town itself. We went to Pokolbin, Lovedale, and... some other ones, and we'd just stop on the side of the road to take photos whenever we find something interesting.
Like this bright blue hut.
Tilt shift effect once again :D I had so much fun with it when I first got Stanley.
Door stopper dog. Entered a teddy bear shop that technically didn't allow photos to be taken inside.
But everything inside was so cute! They had things for babies too, but then since I don't know the gender of my niece/nephew, I just bought my mum a scarf from that place. These teapot jackets!! I really need to get the pattern for my mum to knit me one, they are so adorable!
An apron which my friend loved.
The overcast sky made everything feel like England. Not that I can even remember going there, though I was taken there as a baby. The town is really old and all these buildings' architecture is so archaic.
Dog staring out at us. At first, we mistook it for a toy... then it moved D:
We were looking for somewhere to just sit down and have a drink or something, but turns out shops usually close from Mon-Wed in that town...
We digressed with some photo taking, saw a crepe place was opened and digressed some more, thinking we could come back later.
Wuah, I forgot what I did to this photo. Saturation ^^^^^
Alpaca Barn! You will not believe how soft the alpaca's wool is until you touch it. Unbelievable.
We went back to the crepe shop and it was closed =_________=
Stepped into an antique shop/ cafe opposite the road instead.
Hot drinks~
There was a flight of stairs leading upstairs into an attic, where antiques and many second hand goods were scattered.
I dunno... I find attics creepy. Maybe it's from all the storybooks I read when I was small, but attics always connoted something dangerous and eerie. Like finding photos of dead people and the ghosts actually live in your house, or a doll that, when you're not looking, blinks. Or musical boxes that go off by themselves without anyone winding them up, and murderers lurking in the shadows...
That's all! :D We went back home after that. Check your attic if you have one, who knows what you'll find there =P Thank goodness I don't have one~

Felt a chill at the attic paragraph. The new place doesn't have an attic though.. now I want one!
If I have one I'll have to try to get some creepy dolls to leave in there for the next owners... Or maybe a musical box with a motion sensor...
Build an extra mini storey =P and make an attic!
